Zeus: Wife
built 237 days ago
Zeus was the greatest of the Olympian gods (even Apollo dared not oppose him directly). Associated with light, the sky, and thunder, he was ... responsible for maintaining order and justice in the world (though he was often side tracked, according to Homer, by his numerous affairs and constant battles with his wife Hera).

Zeus married his sister, Hera. Zeus was a very unfaithful husband while Hera was a very suspicious wife. They always watched each other. Zeus had many children with many different women. Only three of them he had with Hera. One Child that he had with a mortal was named Hercules, who was the greatest hero of all times.

Zeus saved his sternest punishment for his wife Hera, the leader of the uprising. He strung her from the heavens using a fine, unbreakable silver thread and to further torment her he tied two huge and heavy anvils from each of her feet. Talk about pain!
