Twins Zack and Cody are residents of the [S]wanky Tipton Hotel where their single mom works as the hotel's headlining singer. The twins dig everything about their home, especially the swimming pool, room service and candy counter - but the hotel staff and guests don't exactly dig the twins, who cause lots of trouble and turn the hotel into an upside-down playground!

Zack and Cody work for a man named Wayne Wormser at a local mini market. The Paul Revere Mini Mart is across the street from another mini mart with a patriotic name and theme, The Betsy Ross Stop and Shop.

When the Zack and Cody's father arrives in town with his band, Zack decides that his dad is a lot more fun to be with than his mom, causing him to run away by stowing away on his dad's touring bus. Meanwhile, the boys' mom tries to make restitution for driving Zack away by forcing Cody to have non-stop fun with her.

Zack and Cody are in a school play; chaos arises when Zack gets a part with Cody's girlfriend where they have to kiss, but the girl Zack has a crush on likes Cody. London changes the lobby around to bring the Tipton luck, but the arrangement causes more trouble than good. (Guest Star: Selena Gomez)

The nicely animated main menu takes you inside the elevator shaft, where doors open to reveal a lobby tormented by the mischievous Zack and Cody. An instrumental rendition of the theme song and sound effects play softly in the background. The sub-menus are all still screens but are at least accompanied by theme music. There isn't a Scene Selection menu but each episode (accompanied by a "Play All" option) is divided into several chapters. The standard white keepcase in which the disc is housed ... includes an ad booklet, an episode selection card, a fold-out locker poster promoting December's High School Musical 2 DVD, and the magic code for the Disney Movie Rewards program, in which this is a participating title.

Zack has a more "cool" attitude and does not have as much knowledge or common sense as Cody. He and his brother are both are huge fans of the Boston Red Sox, and hate the New York Yankees. He likes skateboarding, basketball, and soccer, all which he is good at. He is always playing pranks on his twin brother and is a lot messier than Cody is.
