Viz released volumes 1 through 7 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga under its original title. The Duelist Kingdom and Battle City arcs are released as Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist, while the Egypt arc is released as Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World. As of the January 2007 issue, the Egypt arc can still be found in Shonen Jump. As of the December 2007 issue, the series has come to a close, after a long five year run in the pages of Shonen Jump, America.
Aside from the new Naruto stories, the new issue of Shonen Jump includes an extra-powerful Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG card, the exclusive “The Wicked Dreadroot” card, and two pages of tips from experts. The issue ... delivers an exclusive first look at the new One Piece: Unlimited Adventure video game for the Nintendo Wii from Namco Bandai Games America where Captain Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates embark on new and wild adventures.
Illustrated by Akira Itou , one of the artists who illustrated the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, and supervised by Takahashi, Yu-Gi-Oh! R (遊☆戯☆王R) is a spin-off of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, with most of the same characters in a new plotline, which takes place between the Battle City arc and the Egypt arc. The manga was first published in Shueisha's monthly magazine V-Jump on April 21 , 2004 .
Among other the notable content, the issue will offer the conclusion of the epic Yu-Gi-Oh! saga, which raised generations of Duelists and has dominated the trading card world. SHONEN JUMP ... interviews YU-GI-OH! creator Kazuki Takahashi and gives a retrospective on the impact and history of the internationally loved manga. However, fans needn’t despair because YU-GI-OH! GX will continue its popular ongoing run in the magazine.
