2. Hercules -- Hera
   Famed for his mighty muscles, Hercules was the son of the mortal woman Alcmene and the god Zeus. Hercules performed many legendary feats of strength, the first of which came as an infant: when Zeus's wife Hera placed two serpents in his crib, Hercules quickly strangled them. After he had grown to manhood Hera got revenge by driving Hercules briefly mad, causing him to slay his own wife and children. As penance Hercules performed his famous 12 labors (or tasks), which included killing the Hydra, capturing Cerberus the dog, and cleaning the stables of Augeas. Hercules appears in many ancient Greek stories and is one of mythology's best-known heroes.
3. Hercules -- Trading
   Hercules is Roger Bowler's free System 370/390 emulator, now maintained by Jay Maynard. It is complete enough to run Linux/390, as well as OS/360, MVS 3.8, and VMr6. Reports claim that VM/ESA and OS/390 work too, but the legal situation is iffy, so unless you have a license that allows you to do testing and disaster recovery with your current mainframe OS, you can't legally try those operating systems. However, there are no such restrictions on Linux, OS/360, VMr6, or MVS 3.8.

   Hephaestus was the only Olympian god who actually did physical work and he is worshipped for demonstrating that labor can be noble. He showed that it's not only important to do work, but to do so in an excellent and efficient fashion, and his skill was matchless. 7. Ryan Gosling -- Half Nelson
   Ryan Gosling is an Academy Award-nominated actor for his performance in Half Nelson. After traveling to refugee camps in Chad in 2005, he was moved to expand his humanitarian work. This March, he visited Uganda with John Prendergast and others. As a result of this trip, he is currently preparing to do a film on Northern Uganda.    Australian actress Rachel Blakely is a former model whose career was launched after winning a women's magazine cover competition. She made her TV screen debut in a Nissan commercial, but is best known to television audiences as Gaby Willis in the popular long-running series Neighbours, a role she played for three years. Her other credits include a regular role in Blue Heelers as Gina Belfanti; Tales Of The South Seas; Flipper and Xena- Warrior Princess. Film credits include a role in the Grundy Television tele-movie One Way Ticket; A Nice Guy starring Jackie Chan, filmed on location in Melbourne and Love Until, co-starring Dee Smart, filmed on location in Prague.

   The Heraean Games were established in honour of Hera, and were held every four years in Olympia. Historically, the Heraean Games were actually the oldest Panhellenic Games, even older than the Olympaid, which was ... held in Olympia. Here, girls and young women participated, and each victor was awarded with a crown of olive.
10. Steve Reeves -- Career
    In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Steve Reeves made a number of local and national television appearances. His TV career first started in 1949, when he starred in a 15-minute pilot titled Kindar, but the show was never picked up and did not go to series. Reeves then took guest roles on established TV shows, such as Topper, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, and The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show.
