Young Buck started rapping at the age of 12.[2] It was not until the age of fourteen that he started recording in the studio. Although he was in the studio, recording, he was ... well known on the streets because he used to deal drugs in his neighborhood. Buck's mother is an Iranian immigrant and he is proud of his Iranian heritage.
