Yggdrasil: Yggdrasil Pro
built 654 days ago
Although the original Yggdrasil Pro has been closed down, the YPW Management has been considering relaunching in the near future in the form of the Y-Pro Cup Tournament. The tournament will certainly take new applications in order to prepare for the first show, comprised of opening round matches.
Crown of Vermin (Su): In combat Yggdrasil is constantly protected by an effect similar to a crown of vermin spell, except that the damage is only 10d10 per round. This effect has a radius of 10 feet.
Yggdrasil currently holds three farm properties. One is a working dairy farm in Walworth County, Wisconsin. This property is currently leased to the Krusenbaum Family which operates the farm and resides on the property. Altfrid and Sue Krusenbaum got started in the dairy business in 1990. Their goal was to build a successful family farm based on the principles of organic farming. As Altfrid says, "The main motivation for us to become organic was out of a certain stewardship ethic toward the soil, the earth, and ultimately, humanity."
Yggdrasil grew from Ginnungagap, the cosmic void before creation. Other names for the tree in the Northern Tradition are Laeradr, which may come from “Hleradr" meaning "giver of protection" and Mimameidr meaning "Mimir's Tree". Mimir was a wise giant, one of the world's first beings. Later the tree becomes associated with Odin. The name Yggdrasil means "Ygg's Horse", Ygg ("Terrible One") being an aspect of Odin. It is ... called "Odin's Gallows Steed", this referring to Odin's shamanic ordeal which enabled him to discover the power of the Runes. This is described in the poem Havamal: "I know that I hung on the windy tree, the nights all nine ....
Yggdrasil is first mentioned by Merukimon, who, ten years before the start of the series, told of Yggdrasil's existence to Spencer Damon (Daimon Suguru), the father of series' protagonist Marcus Damon (Daimon Masaru). Spencer and Mercurimon departed, with the former stating that he would seek out Yggdrasil himself.
The production release version carried a pricetag of US$99.[1] However, Yggdrasil was offered for free to any developer whose software was included with the CD distribution.[9]. According to an email from the company's founder the marginal cost of each subscription was $35.70.[10]
