Yasmine Bleeth said that she never accepted the fact that her mother was dying until her mother, Carina, took her very last breath. Just two months after Carina's 47th birthday, her fight with cancer was over.

Yasmine has definitely became a multi-media woman. She completed a full-motion live action entertainment CD-ROM titled Maximum Surge (Digital Pictures) directed by award winning special effects wizard, William Mesa (Oscar nominated for the box office blockbuster, The Fugitive.) Bleeth plays Jo, an ace computer engineer who is responsible for providing game players with the guidance and technical know-how to help defeat the evil dictator, Drexel. Maximum Surge is released for PC, Mac and Sega Saturn.

Bleeth continued to play roles in soap operas after being cast as the hot, misunderstood Lee Ann Demerest Buchanan in the highly acclaimed drama "One Life to Live" (1991-1993). She next joined director Pierre David in the sci-fi thriller The Force (1994), playing Coral Wilson opposite Jason Gedrick.

At the tender age of 20, Yasmine tragically lost her mother, Carina, who suffered from inflammatory breast cancer, the deadliest type of breast cancer. According to Yasmine, her mother had always been very healthy and conscientious about not smoking or drinking, and eating right and exercising, etc. Yasmine stated that her mother was the strongest and bravest woman that she ever knew. Carina even traveled up the Amazon River all by herself, spending nights under the stars. She was Yasmine's hero.
