  1. The X Men -- X-Men
Following the death of Professor X and the ensuing battles that the X-Men had against their enemies which saw the destruction of the Xavier Mansion, Magneto saw for himself an opportunity to lead all mutants before they were destroyed. He quickly killed Stryfe and rallied the Mutant Liberation Front to his cause, as well as other mutants, some former X-Men. He then attacked the White House, where he took the government officials hostage. The President activated the Sentinels in secret. Easily stopping the Sentinel attacks against his newly-created White House base, Magneto became somewhat confidant and when Psylocke and Storm arrived to warn about the future, Magneto tried to prove how easily he could halt any attacks made on him by destroying the incoming Sentinels. Unfortunately for Magneto, one of the Sentinels contained a nuclear warhead, which destroyed the White House, Magneto, and all of the mutants under his command.

Another book, Exiles, started at the same time but continues to this day. Cable and Deadpool's books were also rolled into one book, called Cable and Deadpool. A third core X-Men title was also introduced called Astonishing X-Men, written by Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, following Morrison's departure.
  3. The X Men -- Brett Ratner
Directed by the blandly competent Brett Ratner, the third X-MEN feature hauls out the heavy special-effects artillery and takes no prisoners on the story front, but lacks the pop gravitas that distinguished the earlier films. read more
  4. The X Men -- Fox Dvd
The usual array of trailers for upcoming Fox DVD releases are here, as well as a few future theatrical previews. The big one is a trailer for The Simpsons movie, which features an unfinished animation sequence. Pretty cool for a movie preview.
  5. The X Men -- Jean Grey
Not long after the formation of the X-Men, Professor Charles Xavier was portrayed as harboring unspoken romantic love for his young student, Jean Grey. Note the panel below in which he touches her arm and hand, and afterward thinks about this love that he dare not voice.

  7. The X Men -- Wolverine
The X-Men animated series was the best cartoon show to ever be aired, it never jumped the shark. I thought all the characters were potrayed well and Wolverine was the best of them all, it's ok everything has an end, X-Men was towards the end to have it's moments when it got too childesh and far fetched, but it was the best damned cartoon series ever conceived. About 93 percent of the time it was accurate with the comic books! I hope someone in Marvel get's it into his head to have all 5 season released on dvd, because let's face it you grew up with it and I grew up with it. I was 9 years old when i used to watch this show, and it captivated me from the start and it still does to this day!
  8. The X Men -- United States
The same day Hilton was released from jail, Judge Michael Sauer ordered Hilton to reappear back in his court the following morning (June 8) as the sentencing statement had explicitly said she would serve time in jail with "No work furlough. No work release. No electronic monitoring".[64] The judge ... said that he was informed that the sheriff intended to release Hilton but that the judge had not agreed to it, instead reaffirming her original sentence.[65] At the hearing he declined to be briefed by Hilton's attorney in private chambers on the nature of her condition and sent her back to jail to serve out her original 45-day sentence. Upon hearing the sentence, Hilton shouted, "It's not right!" and started screaming requesting to hug her mother, who was present in the courtroom. She was then escorted out.[66][67] Concern about Hilton's condition led to her being moved to the medical wing of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.
  9. The X Men -- Magnetos
The X-Men's greatest opponent, Magneto, has reevaluated his life and beliefs acting as the X-Men's ally. When Xavier was on the brink of death due to severe injuries, he persuaded Magneto to take his place as head of his school in his absence. Xavier was teleported off Earth to the Shi'ar Galaxy by his lover, the Shi'ar Princess Lilandra Neramani, and his ally Corsair. Xavier has by now fully recovered, thanks to Shi'ar medical science, but he has so far been unable to return to Earth. Magneto, under the alias of Michael Xavier, Charles Xavier's alleged cousin, now runs the school and instructs the New Mutants. Magneto is ... now a member of the X-Men, although Storm is now the team's actual leader.
  10. Magneto -- X-Men
Magneto is one of Marvel’s oldest and most powerful villains. He is the first foe of the X-Men, and their official arch nemesis. Since he’s been around for decades, various comic book creators have found all sorts of interesting and creative ways to use his magnetic powers. Because of this, Magneto has done incredible things, and there seems to be no limits to his power. His background as a Holocaust survivor, and his sincere desire to protect and benefit mutant kind, has made him sympathetic enough to even act as a “good guy” at times, and was at one point even placed in charge of Xavier’s school for mutants during one of Professor X’s extended leaves of absence. Still, in the long run, the writers usually find a way to return him to his villainous self.
