In early 1993, Israeli Sports channel purchased WWF programming via 4 week delay: Wrestling Challenge, Superstars and 5 annual PPVs. The deal started with Royal Rumble 1993 and ended with Royal Rumble 1996, becoming the last WWF PPV to air on Israel`s Sports channel. WWF Superstars aired on Israel`s Channel 2 for several months before being taken down.

WWF Cavalcade, Superstars of Wrestling and yes, even Maple Leaf Wrestling are weak adversaries when compared to current wrestling shows such as Raw is War or the new WWF Smackdown. It's like pitting Iron Mike Sharpe or the Brooklyn Brawler against The Rock or Stonecold Steve Austin – the outcome would be so one-sided, it's ridiculous.

Am 26.01.1987 besiegte die Hart Foundation die British Bulldogs bei einer Ausgabe von WWF Superstars und wurden erstmals WWF Tag Team Champions. Die Fehde mit den Bulldogs, zu denen im übrigen Bret’s Schwager Davey Boy Smith gehörte, führte auch zu einem 6-Mann Tag Team Match bei WrestleMania III. Dort konnte die Hart Foundation mit Danny Davis die Bulldogs & Tito Santana vor über 93.000 Fans bezwingen.

Star World aired WWF Superstars, Shotgun, later Superstars and Metal since 1996. In 1999 they aired WCW Thunder and in january 2003 started airing NWA TNA, just signed for another year with them.

Wieder als Macho Man sah man ihn dann als Color-Kommentator in den WWF Superstars Shows. Beim SummerSlam 91 bestritt er das "Match Made In Heaven". Dabei handelte es sich um die Hochzeit mit Elizabeth, wobei beide natürlich seit den 80ern verheiratet waren. Im Madison Square Garden von New York City kam es dann zur WWF Trauung. Bei der anschließenden Hochzeitsfeier, tauchten Jake Roberts und der Undertaker auf und attackierten Savage. In den Wochen darauf wurde der Macho Man schließlich auch von der Schlange Roberts gebissen.
