Wrinkle
built 630 days ago
That first Wrinkle was put together in just a few days. It was almost coincidence that it happened on the Winter Solstice. Subsequent Wrinkles, and the World Wide Panorama... followed the solar calendar, with events each solstice and equinox (plus special Wrinkles for the Millennium New Years).

Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time is a splendid fantasy; … it seldom violates reality. The Murry family relationships, Calvin's relationship to his parents, and Meg's relation to school authorities and the community, as well as the character portraits, are probable and realistic. Envy of the Murrys, gossip about the supposedly runaway father-husband, malice, selfishness, and even Charles Wallace's arrogance, are unflinchingly presented.

Wrinkle treatment works by encouraging the growth of collagen in the skin, which smoothes out wrinkles. This is a natural process, and in most cases it takes around 3 treatments before you will begin to see results. This is normally around 9 to 12 weeks after your initial treatment.

If you choose not to have further Wrinkle prevention treatments your muscles will eventually return to normal activity and your wrinkles will gradually revert to their pre-treatment levels. The only thing is that your wrinkles will recommence to age in appearance again. However, if you have had 5 or 10 years of Wrinkle prevention treatment say, you will look 5 to 10 years younger than you would have looked, without the Wrinkle prevention treatment. So, why would you want to cease it!

A Wrinkle in Time is sophisticated in concept yet warm in tone, with mystery and love coursing through its pages. Meg's shattering, yet ultimately freeing, discovery that her father is not omnipotent provides a satisfying coming-of-age element. Readers will feel a sense of power as they travel with these three children, challenging concepts of time, space, and the triumph of good over evil. The companion books in the Time quartet, continuing the adventures of the Murry family, are A Wind in the Door; A Swiftly Tilting Planet, which won the American Book Award; and Many Waters. Every young reader should experience L'Engle's captivating, occasionally life-changing contributions to children's literature. (Ages 9 and older) --Emilie Coulter

Wrinkle prevention can be used where muscular activity causes an undesirable pull on the skin on the face or neck. Good examples of these are the ‘bunny’ lines on the nose, puckering of the chin caused by activity of the mentalis muscle and the platysmal bands, causing wrinkles in the neck.
