Woody Harrelson: Films
built 215 days ago
In March 2007, a photographer, Josh Levine, lodged a law suit for $2.5 million alleging Woody assaulted him as he filmed him leaving a nightclub in June 2006. Video footage shows the photographer trying to get Woody’s attention by saying that because “you're just so sexy”, he couldn’t help but follow him. The footage then shows Woody placing his hand over the camera. The lawsuit goes on to say that Woody pushed the camera into Josh Levine’s ribs and subsequently broke the camera. The suit goes on to claim that Woody then put his hands around the photographer’s neck and threatened him. (edit)

Appearing recently on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to plug the release of his latest film, "Palmetto," Harrelson, wearing the Headwaters Hikers, talked up his new hemp footwear and the environmental causes it supports. Harrelson is giving a major portion of his proceeds from the sale of the shoe to various organizations working to save the Headwaters Forest.
Last fall Woody came to Seattle to screen his new film “Go Further” and to show his support of the upstart local organization Living Paradise. Living Paradise (www.livingparadise.org), a project of the Therurgy Foundation, is dedicated to the creation of a Restaurant and Living Center in the Seattle area offering organic, vegan raw foods and juices, a sustainability store, yoga studio, visionary art gallery and a networking hub for Seattle’s “cultural creatives.”
