Wolverine: X-Men
built 215 days ago
Wolverine is one of the only few mutants left along with Storm, Colossus, and Kitty Pryde. In this alternate reality, the X-Men had failed to stop the assassination of Senator Robert Kelly. In retaliation, the Sentinels would soon help enforce the United States of America against Mutants in general. During one of the confrontations against the Sentinels, Wolverine jumps towards a Sentinel ready to kill it when a Sentinel ends up killing Wolverine with its laser. It burns off all of Wolverine’s flesh and he falls to the ground, with only his adamantium left on the ground.

[A] shape shifting Skrull replaced Wolverine, and Wolverine took up a job as Death (one of the Four Horsemen, a retro-rock group of the '80s). After his encounter with the Hulk, Wolverine was conscripted by Department H to join and lead Alpha Flight, Canada's government-run super team. During his leadership of Alpha Flight, Wolverine was approached by Professor Charles Xavier, who was looking for mutants to help his students, the X-Men, escape from the island-being known as Krakoa, which had captured them. Wolverine left Alpha Flight to accompany Xavier and rescue the captured X-Men. After Krakoa was defeated, Wolverine decided to stay with the X-Men, for reasons which included that he had fallen for the X-Man known as Marvel Girl.
Below: Wolverine's early Christian upbringing is evident in this scene, as he prays to the Lord while trying to evade an unusually bestial Hank McCoy.
