   Wire is a graphical patch editor for JSyn. Wire allows you to design new instruments and sound effects interactively by connecting unit generators in a "flow diagram". Registered Developers can then generate Java source code that will create a JSyn SynthCircuit. You can then use the instrument in a Java Applet or application.Version 0.6 to 1.0 of Wire is designed to accompany V14.2 of JSyn.

   Internet Wire uses the Internet and XML to feed releases to the media. It offers journalists categorized "channels" that they can sign up to receive, and the sender of a release selects which channels will carry that release. Some publications have content management systems, enabling reporters to get e-mails containing headlines with hyperlinks to the full release. Daily papers get real-time feeds of full stories.

   LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 18, 2005--News Corporation announced today that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Intermix Media, Inc. for approximately $580 million in cash, or the equivalent of $12 per common share. In a separate transaction, Intermix announced today that it exercised its option to acquire the 47 percent of MySpace.com that it does not already own. MySpace.com is the leading lifestyle portal for networking online. Both MySpace.com and Intermix's more than 30 sites will become part of News Corporation's newly formed Fox Interactive Media unit.

   Although the operations of CBS News have received more attention from historians of broadcast journalism, NBC's operations often received higher ratings. From 1956 through 1970, NBC's Huntley-Brinkley Report anchored by the team of Chet Huntley and David Brinkley consistently exceeded the viewership levels attained by CBS News and its main anchor Walter Cronkite.    This morning, CharterX Industry Headline News obtained a letter in which Robert Wells, CEO of Swiss-based TAG Aviation Holding, announced it has agreed to sell its subsidiary, TAG Aviation USA, to Sentient Flight Group, LLC. The announcement comes after the Federal Aviation Administration revoked AMI Jet Charter's air carrier certificate on Oct. 12, under an emergency order. Wells wrote: "This transaction will provide TAG USA with the best possible solution to an ‘operational control' matter related to its affiliated AOC holder, AMI Jet Charter. The operational control issues were largely the result of the structures ofTAG Aviation USA and AMI Jet Charter, mandated by foreign ownership and investment (in the case of AMI) in the companies."

    De naam News Corporation is afgeleid van de Australische krant News uit Adelaide. Toen Murdoch's vader, Sir Keith Murdoch, overleed was deze krant het belangrijkste deel uit de erfenis die Murdoch ontving. Het bedrijf werd pas in 1980 geregistreerd onder die naam.
