Blackbaud Block Customer demand for Windows Home Server has been strong; the HP MediaSmart Server, powered by Windows Home Server, sold out on leading retailer Web sites after it launched. Customers in more than 30 countries are now using Windows Home Server to help secure and enjoy their digital content and experiences. For example, in the United States, Brian Driscall used Windows Home Server to quickly restore all of his 9-year-old son's progress on the "LEGO Star Wars" computer game, after his 4-year-old son had deleted the information.
Georgia SoftWorks Telnet Server for Windows NT is the first product to provide secure telnet connectivity by encrypting all data transmitted across the Internet, LANs, WANs and dialups. The software is available to both domestic and international markets.
Storage Manager for Windows enables administrators to gain visibility into their storage environments by providing enterprise-wide to file-level detail on current network storage. Forrester Research Inc. forecasts that home server adoption will reach 4.56 million households in the next five years.
Bonjour for Windows Bonjour for Windows includes a plugin to discover advertised HTTP servers using Internet Explorer. Click the Bonjour icon in the Internet Explorer toolbar to enable Bonjour browsing. If you have Bonjour devices on your local network with embedded HTTP (Web) servers, they will appear in the list.

Later this year, HP plans to deliver the HP MediaSmart Server, powered by Windows Home Server software. Announced today, original equipment manufacturers Gateway, LaCie and Medion will ... deliver hardware products powered by Windows Home Server, extending the range of easy-to-use solutions that will be available to consumers. LaCie is a leader in external storage solutions for consumers. Medion will demonstrate its product, code-named Medion Home Server, at WinHEC this week. The product will have storage options of 500 GB up to 2 terabytes and will offer Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-compliant universal plug and play media streaming based on PacketVideo Connect software. It is scheduled to ship by the end of 2007.
