Sahraouis are not protesting every day in Western Sahara as some videos try to convey. Intifada is another historical lie of the Polisario. THE POLISARIO MUST STOP THE LIE NOW! Let sahraouis live in peace. Let them go back to their homeland. 32 years sufferings is too much !!

President of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic SADR and Polisario leader Mohamed Abdelaziz said that agreement reached with Morocco laid the ground for resolving the Western Sahara conflict and ending a colonial situation of injustice and suffering lasting 23 years. "Hope is now permitted..." He appealed to the international community "to support the implementation of these agreements."
Author and political analyst Tony Hodges has studied the Western Saharan issue for many years, traveling extensively in the region. Hodges gave the English-speaking world its first in-depth look at the Polisario struggle against the Western-supported M oroccan regime in Western Sahara: The Roots of a Desert War (Hodges 1983).
In 1991 the UN mission to Western Sahara was established—using the acronym MINURSO— to resolve the dispute. It was intended as a short-term mission but has had numerous extensions, the most recent being that announced in April this year by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, which extended the mission for a further six months.

A parliamentarian from Belgium said his Government had launched a humanitarian mission comprising Belgian officials and others that would begin work in Western Sahara this week. He pledged to return next year to report the findings.

Morocco and Mauritania split Western Sahara after its Spanish colonizers left the territory in 1975. Full-scale war broke out the following year, and Morocco took over the whole of Western Sahara after Mauritania pulled out in 1979.
