Werewolves are a human/animal creature. They are basically human, but have the ability to shape-shift into an animal form, being that of a type of wolve. The werewolve can change of its own accord, or may be forced by such things as cycles of the moon.

Werewolves look a lot like regular wolves and there are many different ideas of what they look like. Some theories suggest that they have a long snout and paws while others suggest they that they are monsters who wear wolf skin.

The wolves were about to close in a little more, but somebody sneaked out of the werewolves lair and went to the kitchen and turned on the music. When the werewolves were about to bite, music came on and the werewolves all stopped in their tracks. They covered their ears.They couldn't make the music stop. They could still hear it. Even though they plugged their ears. And, to the men's surprise, the werewolves were melting.

Most werewolves reside in the Americas. There are very few left in Europe because of the persecution of wolves there. The few remaining European werewolves are mostly in the northern parts of Russia, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. There are ... a few in the remote corners of the Alps and the Carpathians.
