The Werewolves in the Heroscape Universe were presumably once Elves, the dominate humanoid species on Feylund. They have swiftly become a major power along with the Undead. At once point they allied with the Elves against the Undead, but upon victory, the Darklord and his Werewolves turned on the Elves and killed many of them.

Werewolves are shapeshifters who tend to shy away from contact with any but their own kind. They run in packs, inhabiting mostly forest and parks, but will inhabit any area that is free from humans. The largest group in the city inhabits Golden Gate Park. The leader of this pack is the mysterious Lupus.

Two players are now secretly werewolves. They are trying to slaughter everyone in the village. Everyone else is an innocent human villager; but one of the villagers secretly has the Second Sight, and can detect the taint of lycanthropy.

On one particular hunting session, Selene and other lycan hunters, known as the “Deathdealers,” follow a pack of werewolves into a subway. Needless to say, violence ensues. Neither gang of supernatural killers has much regard for human life as the groups fire aimlessly through a crowd of unsuspecting commuters.
