On September 23rd, Wei Wei Wuu will make her first live appearance in Shanghai at ARK in Xintiandi with a performance including original cuts and interpretations from "Nomad," her 4th solo album on the Warner Japan label. Wei Wei's music features a mix of jazz, world, rock and other genres.

Multi-million selling Chinese singer Wei Wei will use a .mobi mobile Internet site to debut full-track downloads from her new album. The Wei Wei 20X20 Celebration Collection will debut exclusively on the .mobi site, taking priority over PC-based music stores and CD sales.

The 2006 release of "Nomad," her 5th solo album on the Warner Japan label, has further established Wei Wei Wuu as the most innovative exponent of the erhu (Chinese violin) for the 21st century. "Nomad" features Ms. Wuu's trademark blend of jazz, world music, and other vibes, including her original compositions. Currently a Tokyo resident, Ms. Wuu is a Shanghai native and a graduate of the prestigious Shanghai College of Theatre Arts where she studied erhu and Western violin.
