- Def Jam Vendetta
Def Jam Vendetta is a professional wrestling video game that combined hip hop with pro wrestling. It was released for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. It was Electronic Arts' first attempt at a wrestling game since the widely-panned WCW Backstage Assault. The game's engine was originally designed for use in a sequel to EA's WCW Mayhem, but EA lost the WCW license when the wrestling company was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation in 2001. So far two sequels have been released; 2004's Def Jam: Fight for NY (which had its own spin-off, 2006's Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover) and 2007's Def Jam: Icon. - April Hunter
April Hunter became involved in wrestling as a WCW valet back in 1999...but it didn't take long for her to realize that she needed more. She needed to be inside of the ropes competing! So this beautiful redhead went into training, quickly becoming one of the most-popular indy wrestlers of the early 21st century. Unfortunately, injuries forced April to retire from in-ring competition in late-2007. Still, the brash, cocky, attitude-filled Hunter couldn't completely drag herself from the excitement of the wrestling business...so she simply shifted her focus back to managing! Now, - Sting (Wrestler) -- Titles
In the months after his victory, Sting was constantly hounded by a masked challenger calling himself the Black Scorpion. It was a pretty ridiculous angle, full of smoke, glimmer and lighting effects. A Sting title defense would be interrupted by a ridiculously cartoonish voice that boomed "STING!!" over the PA. A man dressed in black would wander out and mysteriously disappear before Sting could reach him. Lame, right? Wait...it gets even better. - Hulk -- Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan is the stage name of Terry Bollea, one of the superstars of professional wrestling from its 1980s heyday. Bollea joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1979. His rise in the ring coincided with the expansion of the WWF, and Hogan became a star through live events and pay-per-view television. His career got a big boost early on from an appearance with Sylvester Stallone in the movie Rocky III (1983), and by the late '80s "Hulkamania" was in full swing. Hogan was headlined live events like Wrestlemania and became an all-around TV celebrity on talk shows and MTV. Easily recognized by his extra-large frame, long white hair and handlebar mustache, Hogan's trademarks included feather boas, torn shirts and leg drops.
