Businesses and housing developments do not succeed without a safe and sustainable water supply. Tap water is critical to businesses’ day-to-day operation and is often a primary ingredient in attracting new businesses to Pueblo. Since 1984, the Board of Water Works has contributed over $2.1 million in service to improve Pueblo’s economy.

ANEAS is a civil organization founded in 1981 with the primary objective to bring together water and wastewater utilities and improve water quality in Mexico. The organization offers training courses, management workshops and more to over 700 members. Its fields of expertise include water supply and sanitation, research and assessment, water resources management, environmental regulation and governance and ecosystems.
