The Washington Wizards have changed names and locations several times in their history, but they have never changed the quality of basketball that fans have grown to love. The Wizards started off as the Chicago Packers in 1961 and then moved to Baltimore. They spent several seasons here before moving on to Washington. It was here where they won their first, and to date, only Championship Title in 1977-78.

Caron Butler scored 35 points and Antawn Jamison added 27 last night to help the Washington Wizards defeat the host Dallas Mavericks, 110-98. It was Dallas's first home loss of the season and third consecutive over all.
