Washington Mutual: Class Period
built 280 days ago
Between October 17 and November 3, 2007, Washington Mutual's stock price plummeted from $33.07 to 23.80 or by $9.27 per share, or 28%. The lawsuits seek to recover damages on behalf of all purchasers of WaMu common stock during the Class Period (the "Class").
If you purchased or acquired Washington Mutual common stock during the Class Period, you may move the court no later than Jan. 4, 2008, and request that the court appoint you as lead plaintiff. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. Any member of the purported class may move the court to serve as lead plaintiff through counsel of their choice, or may choose to do nothing and remain an absent class member.
If you remain in the class, you are releasing actual damages, if any, that you have against Washington Mutual relating to the disclosure of the security interest created by the 1-4 family rider. Any and all documents that are generated in the administration of the settlement, including returned notices or letters to counsel, will be destroyed one year after the effective date of the settlement.
