Warts: Bodies
built 636 days ago
Letting the warts go away by themselves is actually an old treatment. Within three months, 20 to 30 percent of patients' non-cervical warts will clear up by themselves. However, if you are sexually active this is not a good option for you as the virus is very contagious and even with a condom your vagina will have contact with your partner's body, testicles, etc. So, get them treated!

Dermatology Foods That Turn Genital warts are a special case. A strong immune system can eventually clear the body of genital wart infection, but in many cases infection lasts a lifetime, with outbreaks occurring periodically. There are prescription medications that help control genital wart outbreaks. These medications and other treatment options currently available for genital warts do not cure the infection — they simply treat the symptoms of outbreak. Unfortunately, transmission of the virus that causes genital warts is possible even when warts are not present.

More common in kids than in adults, warts are skin infections caused by viruses of the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. They can affect any area of the body, but tend to invade warm, moist places, like small cuts or scratches on the fingers, hands, and feet. Warts are usually painless unless they're on the soles of the feet or another part of the body that gets bumped or touched all the time.

Plantar warts can occur when HPV invades the body through tiny cuts or breaks in the skin on the bottom of the feet. The virus often is encountered on contaminated surfaces, such as the tile floors of public locker rooms, showers, and swimming pools. Normally, antibodies in the blood destroy HPV, but in some cases, it takes refuge in the skin and causes plantar warts.
Genital warts are growths that appear on the genital area – either externally on the vulva, the anus or (for men) the penis, or internally in the vagina or on the cervix. The growths, which typically are soft, moist and flesh-colored, can appear alone or in clusters (often resembling cauliflower) and may be raised or flat, small or large. Less commonly, HPV-related growths may appear red or brown. Note that some warts are so small they are difficult to see, even if they are on the outside of the body.

If you have genital warts, you should not try to treat them yourself with over-the-counter medicines. You must see your GP or visit your local GUM clinic for treatment. Genital warts can usually be removed using techniques similar to those described above. The method used will depend on how big the warts are and whether they are inside your body or on the skin surface.
