LOT Polish Airlines was the first operator of the E-Jets family in Europe, flying out of its Warsaw hub with the E170, in March 2004. Blockbuster, a global leader in rentable home entertainment opened its doors for business today in Warsaw. The video retailer signed an agreement in April 1998 with joint-venture partner Gemini, a Polish-based real estate and retail group, to develop as many as 110 Blockbuster stores in the Polish Republic over the next 10 years.
