Warren G. Harding (November 2, 1865–August 2, 1923) was the 29th President of the United States. He was the president from 1921 to 1923. He died while he was the president. Before becoming president, he was a senator and the assistant governor of Ohio. Before he was in government, he was an important newspaper manager. He was in the Republican Party and believed that government should do as little as possible.

Warren Harding was president of the United States from 1921 until his sudden death in 1923. One can almost feel sorry for Harding, who consistently gets ranked as one of the worst presidents of all time. Harding published and edited the Marion Daily Star, a pro-Republican newspaper, for many years before serving as Ohio's lieutenant governor (1904-06). He was elected in 1914 to the U.S. Senate, where he became known as a handsome and affable fellow who was not necessarily the most active mind in the chamber. Nonetheless, Harding was chosen as a compromise candidate on the 10th ballot of the 1920 Republican convention. He was inaugurated in 1921 and took over the White House from two-term Democrat Woodrow Wilson.

Warren G. (Gamaliel) Harding (November 2, 1865 - August 2, 1923) was an Ohio Senator and the 29th President of the United States of America, serving from 1921 to 1923. After the First World War, his presidency was marked as a "return to normalcy". Mr. Harding and his running mate Calvin Coolidge were elected by a large majority over James Cox and Franklin D. Roosevelt, in large part because of the American people's rejection of the internationalist policies of former President Woodrow Wilson, particularly the League of Nations. [1]
