Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is the largest U.S. holder of Petro China, whose parent company CNPC (China National Petroleum Corp.) buys more oil from Sudan than anyone else. As a result, Buffett has come under pressure from the Sudan divestment movement to sell his holdings–or at least speak out loudly against the genocide in Darfur.

Buffett is still living in the same house in Nebraska that he paid $57,000 for in the 1940/1950s. Also he is a huge fan of The Coca Cola Company and he drinks about 15 cans of Coke each day.

Buffett acknowledged that it is inevitable that someone in a company the size of Berkshire Hathaway would give in to temptation. He called on his top executives to resist improper behavior and head off such behavior in their employees.
