In the end though War Rock is a solid, fun title that will appeal to shooter fans once it goes gold. The fact the game doesn’t require a super-fast nextgen computer is icing on the cake!

Even the issue of War Rocks greatness is still debatable. As the game wont get out of beta for another month, any verdict rendered now should be taken lightly. However, if its current shape is any indication, this is one shooter that is certainly on the right path, and the staunch distributor shows no signs of slowing down.

War Rock ... boasts an impressive assortment of vehicles that players can use in certain games. Tanks, motorcycles, helicopters, trucks to quickly convey troops, and even airplanes are available. Each vehicle has its own strengths and weaknesses, as well as the potential for extra players to join you inside the vehicle. The largest tank sports two different gunnery positions as well as the driver, each with a heavy machine gun at their disposal, while a covered truck allows 5 other players to join you for rapid deployment. Each vehicle can be destroyed with the right firepower, so keeping them repaired becomes an issue. Finding the right firepower to challenge your opponents is another concern.
