However, an important document was leaked that detailed Walt's plan to be defrosted on New Years Eve 2082, alongside the career of Robin Williams (which was frozen with him).

In 1953 Walt brilliantly strategized combining television production with development of the park. The Disneyland television program on ABC had a dual benefit. It promoted the new park through a weekly program, and it became part of a deal where the network invested half a million dollars plus substantial loan guarantees in return for a 35% ownership in Disneyland Park.

In the same way that people prepare their homes for a newborn baby, the staff at Disney's Animal Kingdom took steps to "baby proof" the elephant habitat to ensure that there were no hazards for a young elephant calf. The team has taken a critical look at the habitat and made many changes, including planting more trees and shrubbery for shading purposes, closing gaps between boulders, and the installation of a shallow pool behind the scenes where the calf will be able to explore the water and learn to swim in a safe environment.

Disney's U.S. castles will be joined by those at Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland in lighting spectacles for the holidays. Disney's newly expanded global celebration was inspired by Disneyland Paris which began the lighting tradition in 2005.
