Walsall College have been developing their links with employers to extend opportunities for CoVE student work placements. This year, curriculum leaders Tracey Cockrill and Madge Waites-Stewart have added 21 new placements across a broad range of employers in Health and Care.

CoVE partners Walsall College and City of Wolverhampton College are to develop practical skills facilities at each college site for manual handling, First Aid and services for wheelchair users. The new suites across the two sites will ... incorporate an open plan hospital single bed side ward, a domestic kitchen and a self-contained unit which will be a cross between a residential home and hospital ward including a bathroom, kitchen and beds, plus additional aids and adaptations.
