Walsall moved into their Bescot Stadium in 1990, having previously played at nearby Fellows Park. Their opening game was a friendly fixture against rivals Aston Villa. The Villa winning 4-0. The ground is now known as Banks's Stadium for sponsorship purposes.[1]

From Jn 9 [Wednesbury turning] go towards Walsall. Follow brown signs to Bescot stadium until you pass Morrisons on the left. Get into left-hand lane over the railway bridge & turn left at the lights at the bottom of the hill and immediately right into Milton St. Turn right after the pub [Charles Napier] into Cobden St and immediately left into Dale St.

Access to the ground can be made from j9 of the M6, or via trains thats run between Birmingham New Street and Walsall (N.B. only a selection of trains will stop at Bescot Stadium)
