The Wallace Collection is a national art museum located in London. It was established from the private collection of Sir Richard Wallace, which was bequeathed to the UK by his widow in 1897. The museum opened to the public in 1900, in Hertford House in Manchester Square. The collection includes old master paintings (such as The Laughing Cavalier), fine porcelain such as S�vres and Meissen, armour, Eighteenth Century French furniture and diverse objets d'art. A few years ago the inner courtyard was given a glass roof.

Wallace Collection was a group that was founded on the remains of the group Sylvester's Team. Three of the original member (namely Sylvain Vanholme, Freddy Nieuland and Marc Hérouet) then went on to form the band 16th Century, together with bass-player Christian Janssens and the classical musicians Raymond Vincent and Jacques Namotte. These two were members in the Belgian National Philharmonic Orchestra, but had been flirting with popular music already in a band called Stradivarius.

The Wallace Collection has the finest collection of eighteenth-century furniture outside France. Numbering over 500 pieces, it includes furniture by the greatest Parisian cabinet makers, beginning with Andre-Charles Boulle and continuing through the major craftsmen of the reigns of Louis XV and Louis XVI. The collection is rich in pieces made for the French Crown, such as the commode made for the bedroom of Louis XV at Versailles. The cabinet furniture is complemented by a wealth of objects in gilt-bronze, including the two great Caffieri chandeliers given by Louis XV to his eldest daughter. This catalogue of furniture replaces the 1956 publication by the late Sir Francis Watson. It has 337 entries, some covering more than one piece of furniture, and is divided into three volumes illustrated with 384 color plates and numerous black and white details.

The Henry Agard Wallace Collection in Special Collections of the National Agricultural Library occupies eight linear feet, consisting of eight document boxes and four flat pamphlet boxes. The inclusive dates of the collection are 1921-1943, with the bulk of the records from 1933-1940, during Wallace's tenure as Secretary of Agriculture. The collection was originally housed in the library of the Bureau of Agricultural Economics.

Wallace Collection based itself out of Britain, naming itself after the famous museum adjacent to the headquarters of their record label, EMI. Their debut studio album, Laughing Cavalier, was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and was released in 1969. The single "Daydream" became a hit in 21 countries, including going #1 in Belgium. In the wake of its success, the group toured Europe, the United States, Mexico, and South America. They ... composed the soundtrack to a French film, La Maison, in 1970. Later singles, such as "Love" and "Serenade", were hits in Belgium and some other countries but did not reach the level of "Daydream", and the group split up in 1971.
