Historically, Wal-Mart's focus has been on the products it sells, not to whom it sells them. One of the most difficult pieces of information to harvest is which customer bought what. Such information is expensive, too.

Memory capacity is big at 512 MB (DDR2). It has a substantial viewing space courtesy of its TruBrite-enhanced 15-inch screen. Over the air Internet access is via an Atheros 802.11 b/g wireless LAN. It has a 40GB hard disk drive, complemented by a CD-RW/DVD-ROM optical drive.

Since June 2007, Wal-Mart has saved customers more than $14 million over prescription costs by offering Alli, the only FDA-approved OTC weight-loss product, at a great value. The drug has since become its best-selling OTC diet product. Wal-Mart anticipates similar results with the launch of OTC Zyrtec.
By working together with Microsoft and Novell, Wal-Mart gains the ability to manage Windows and Linux by extending its existing Microsoft management tool set and authentication platform: Systems Management Server, Active Directory(R) and Microsoft Operations Manager. Canada Night 2008 Wal-Mart has decided to offers its holiday price cuts early, in wake of both Black Friday shopping in the U.S., as well as Canadians’ increased focus on price in light of the strong Canadian dollar. Usually, Wal-Mart doesn’t offer its holiday price reductions until the first week in December, but beginning today, customers will receive $8,000 worth of lower prices every week leading up to Christmas.
