Matt Millen's three-year wager on receivers was an expensive one. He bet $14.4 million in guarantees and roster bonuses on Rogers, who was cut last year after a lack of production and off-field issues, and is out of the league. He made a Pro Bowl hit with Roy Williams, who should max out the first five years of his contract at $27.68 million. Mike Williams essentially was forgotten last season despite a five-year, $11.5 million contract that had $7.5 million in guarantees. He caught just eight passes all season.

A Teaser is a selection of two or more teams in one wager in which the point spread is adjusted to your desire. The number of teams selected, and the number of teaser points selected, determines the payout odds. A 'Tie' or 'No Action' and a 'Win' on a two team teaser shall constitute a 'No Action' wager. A 'Tie' or 'No Action' and a 'Loss' on a two team teaser constitutes a 'Losing' wager. Ties on a three team, or more, teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket. Example: A pointspread tie on a three team becomes a two team teaser.

The minimum wager over the Internet is $10 and the maximum is $10,000. The minimum wager through the Call Center is $50 as well.

At Del Mar (and its off-track wagering locations) the minimum straight win, place or show wager is $2. The final winning prices are all based on a $2 wager. For example, if you bet $10 to Win on Best Pal, and the Win price was $5.20, you would fill your pocket with a total of $26. The math looks like this:
