The Canadian Men’s Standing Volleyball Team lost an absolute heart breaker today in their quarterfinal rematch against Poland. Having already defeated Poland in round-robin play, the Canadian’s could not close the door in the final set and were defeated 2-3, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 8-15

Tonight the Carl Sandburg College Chargers Volleyball team played the number 1 rated team in the nation Kishwaukee College in an Arrowhead Conference match losing in the games 13-30; 13-30; 6-30. Leaders for Carl Sandburg College Chargers, Jessica Redington 5 blocks 1 dig 2 kills 1aces, Ashley Colwell 3 blocks 2 kills, Courtnee Brown 6 blocks 8 digs 5 kills.

After a disappointing loss to Germany yesterday, the Canadian Men’s Standing Volleyball Team jumped back into action with a 3-1 victory over team India at the 2007 Standing Volleyball World Cup. Scores of the match were 25-12, 25-14, 26-28, 25-18 and now gives the Canadians a 2-1 record at the event.
