Vitor Meira (born March 27, 1977 in Brasília, Brazil) is an auto racing driver. After participating in an open test for Panther Racing at Texas Motor Speedway in 2002, he made his Indy Racing League debut with Team Menard on August 11, 2002 at Kentucky Speedway. A little over a month later, Vitor won his first career pole at Texas Motor Speedway just after four starts and finished a very respectable third.
Vitor Meira (born March 27 , 1977 in Brasília , Brazil ) is an auto racing driver, currently driving for Rahal Letterman Racing in the Indy Racing League (IRL). He won the 2004 "IRL Rising Star" award. He finished second in the 2005 Indianapolis 500 .
Vitor Meira will start from the outside of the front row for Honda and Rahal Letterman Racing Sunday as the 2005 Indy Racing League IndyCar Series kicks off with the Miami Indy 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Including Meira, Honda drivers claimed four of the top six grid positions in the 22-car field. The Brazilian has two previous IRL poles to his name, including Milwaukee last year, but is still looking for his first IndyCar race win. He finished second twice last year: at Richmond and Kansas.

Panther Racing driver Vitor Meira fought his way to the front for a fourth place finish in the IndyCar Series' season opener at Homestead Miami Speedway. Super Aguri Panther driver Kosuke Matsuura finished 16th after he was the victim of another driver's accident, despite leading Panther's first laps of the season.

Delphi Panther Racing driver Vitor Meira was named the driver for Team Brazil in this weekend’s A1GP event in Shanghai, China. Meira will be making his series’ debut at the 15-turn, 2.85-mile road course as a replacement for Bruno Junqueira, who is missing the race due to a conflict with this weekend's Champ Car World Series race in Long Beach.
