Vince Gill (born Vincent Grant Gill[1], April 12, 1957) is an American neotraditional country musician, songwriter, and singer. He made his national debut in 1979 in the country rock band Pure Prairie League before embarking on a solo career in 1983. Between then and the present, Gill has recorded more than twenty studio albums, in addition to charting more than forty singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
