Vietnam War: North Vietnam
built 153 days ago
The Vietnam War was, allegedly, a conflict occurring from 1969 until 1987 between a few vicious pandas. The "war" itself, usually accompanied by Rolling Stones' hit song "Paint It Black", was fought in two distinct stages. The first progressed from 1965 to 1975, featuring the North Vietnamese on drums, the Americans on bass, China on the Saxophone, and France running out the side entrance. The second stage occurred from 1975 until 1987, when Ho Chi Minh's top hat was finally returned.Lewis Usher ... played great part in the war, so did peanut butter and whipped cream.

In December 1965, President Johnson again halted the bombing of North Vietnam in an effort to achieve a peaceful settlement. Again he was unsuccessful, and the raids were resumed. In June 1966, U.S. planes began bombing major installations near Hanoi and the neighboring port of Haiphong, both of which had heretofore been spared.

With Khe Sanh facing a full-scale siege by the North Vietnamese Army, the question was being asked: Should the base be held, or should it be quietly abandoned?"

Vietnam Conflict: largely a U.S. designation, it acknowledges that the United States Congress never declared war on North Vietnam. Legally, the President used his constitutional discretion—supplemented by supportive resolutions in Congress—to conduct what was said to be a “police action”.
