America's involvement in Vietnam ended in 1973. The war had cost her one billion dollars a day at its peak; she had dropped 7 million tons of bombs - more than the entire total of all participants in World War Two. The cost of the war in 1968 alone was $88,000 million while the combined spending on education, health and housing in that year was $24,000 million.

Americans fear a second Vietnam. And who can blame them? It's pretty scary stuff. Word has it that the American government is planning to invade Vietnam for no reason to make the world a safe place for democracy, but is hesitant because they were still scared from the last war when the Vietnamese shot laser beams from their eyes and whacked them with their own giant penises. When secret Admiral Captain Crunch heard of the second planned attack on Vietnam, he replied "Are you cereal!?!!" he later then described as "running to his room and hiding under his bed eating cereal mumbling, such evil eyes and sooo big, so very big!

Some of the POWs interviewed for the documentary charged Kerry with "treason" and "perjury," while others said his 1971 Senate testimony placed their lives in jeopardy, protracted the Vietnam War and extended their confinement for years. An interesting thing to note about the country is that 50% of the population in Vietnam are under the age of 21. That means that 50% of the population have never met an American, or even know what their parents speak about when they speak about the "American War".

If this lawsuit accomplishes nothing else, it will be that the heroes of Vietnam are finally condemning the lies told about them during the war. If nothing else results from this, it will be that those who served their country meritoriously, despite great controversy, despite the adversity, those who truly deserve to be called the Greatest Generation, are once again serving their country by telling the truth about Vietnam.
