Vietnamese is the official language of Vietnam but there are various dialects spoken by hill tribe people in remote areas. Leaning foreign languages , particularly English and French, is currently in vogue among young people in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Da Nang and other cities.

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (Crown), today announced that its Crown Beverage Cans Saigon Ltd subsidiary received government approval to install a second aluminum beverage can line in its Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam plant. The line will have an annual production capacity of 460 million 33cl beverage cans and 25cl slim cans with commercial production scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2006. The addition of the second line brings the total annual production capacity of the plant to over 1 billion cans.

The Ho Chi Minh Trail was a complex web of different jungle paths that enabled communist troops to travel from North Vietnam to areas close to Saigon.
