WAUKESHA, Wis., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Markel American Insurance Company associates are building a retro-design Board Track Racer motorcycle to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp charity. Funds will be raised though a "Markel Builds Fun" sweepstakes random drawing to win the custom-built motorcycle. The motorcycle will be exhibited at multiple events this summer before being awarded to the winner of the sweepstakes drawing to be held in September. The motorcycle is being built by Markel American associates and motorcycle enthusiasts Tom Conroy and Dale Moldenhauer. WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dozens of openly gay and lesbian candidates running in municipal and state legislative races across the country won their elections Tuesday, according to the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund. Of the record 71 candidates endorsed by the group in 2007, at least 31 won their races on Tuesday, while 10 were elected earlier this year. At least three more endorsed candidates received enough votes to advance to runoff elections.
