David and Victoria Beckham were a little pissed when phtographers tried to snap shots of their pool. So pissed they slapped the paps with a $40,000 lawsuit. The French court hearing the case feel if the Beckhams can’t handle the heat, perhaps they should look into another career. Argued one lawyer, “When Monsieur and Madame Beckham are followed by photographers, it’s part of their line of work.”

David and Victoria Beckham are planning to complete their family of three sons with the adoption of an African girl. The couple was inspired to adopt after David spent four days in Sierra Leone as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations’ UNICEF Children’s Charity two weeks ago.

The first of the reality shows, called Being Victoria Beckham, showed Beckham discussing her career as a solo artist, with the release of her first album... showing her at various photo shoots and recording sessions. The second, The Real Beckhams, focussed on the Beckhams' move to Madrid from London after David was signed to Real Madrid. It also featured Beckham re-launching her solo career and showed her mocking the tabloid stories she reads in the paper every day. This particular special was released on DVD.

On Monday, July 16, Posh’s surprisingly charming reality special Victoria Beckham: Coming to America attracted just five million viewers to NBC. Still, it won its time slot with adults 18 to 49, and a special encore showing on Thursday drew another four million.David’s debut was smaller but more promising, given that it was on cable. His new soccer team, the Los Angeles Galaxy, hosted London’s Chelsea FC on Saturday in an exhibition match that aired on ESPN. Though Beckham played just 16 minutes late in the game (he’s nursing an ankle injury), 1.468 million viewers tuned in, making it the most-watched program of the night on ad-supported cable among men 18 to 49 and 25 to 54. read more
