Wong remembered that Li’s praise was used as a slogan to promote them in Malaysia – the slogan said: The voices that moved Jonathan Li for the first time in three years at Rock Records. Li then wanted to invite them over to Taiwan but to record as solo artistes.

Wong formed a duo with Michael Wong in 1995 when they first started out as singers under Rock Records. They achieved much success in Taiwan but decided to break up in 2000 to pursue solo careers.

Victor said they signed their first contract with Rock Records as solo artistes, not as a duo. However, because they’d sung together before on a self-produced demo album, the label decided to put them together.

This youth-oriented martial arts comedy concerns three children (Colt, Rocky, and Tum Tum) who are instructed in the art of ninjitsu by their grandfather, Ninja Master Mori (Victor Wong). Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Wong has come a long, long way from his days as an accounting student. A trained classical guitarist, Wong used to compose songs in his free time; local artistes such as Ciang Teng used to record his compositions even before Wong became a full-fledged artiste himself.
