1. Soul -- Vh1 Soul
   VH1 Soul ... airs exclusive Album Release listening parties that spotlight VH1 Soul artists and their new work. Listening parties include airing the new album in its entirety, a block of the artist's music videos back-to-back, artist interviews and live artist performances and concerts. VH1 Soul has aired listening parties for Angie Stone, Floetry, Jill Scott, The Roots, Common, Kindred, Dwele, K-OS, and Heather Headly.
2. Hip -- Hip Hop Honors
   VH1 will once again honor the hip hop pioneers and legends that have made significant contributions to music and pop culture with the fourth annual "VH1 Hip Hop Honors." Hosted by Tracy Morgan, this year's honorees include A Tribe Called Quest, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, WHODINI, the film Wild Style, and Teddy Riley and Andre Harrell for New Jack Swing.
3. Pistols -- Sex Pistols
   The Sex Pistols shocked and scandalized the island nation, which was beleaguered by poverty, unemployment, workers’ strikes and the death of empire. The punks’ overt hostility, especially in the year of the Queen’s Silver Jubilee (1977), offended a country that had always taken pride in its mannerly ways. In effect, the Sex Pistols announced that the niceties were over. “God Save the Queen” found Rotten excoriating the Queen (“She ain’t no human being”). The song concluded with the chant “no future,” a taunt that could just as easily apply to the monarchy as Britain’s oppressed and unemployed. “God Save the Queen” went to #2 in Britain.

5. The Legend of Zelda -- Series
   The Legend of Zelda was made into an animated series as a "show within a show" in the semi-live-action Super Mario Bros. Super Show TV series produced by DiC. The animated Zelda shorts were aired each Friday, instead of the usual Super Mario Bros. cartoon that aired during the rest of the week. The series loosely followed the NES Zelda games, mixing settings and characters from those games with original creations. Thirteen animated Zelda shorts were featured within the show's 65-episode run.
6. Damien Marley -- Music
   Marley was well known for his devotion to the Rastafarian religion. It was his wife Rita who first inspired him in his faith, and he then received teachings from Mortimer Planner. He served as a de facto missionary for the faith (his actions and lyrics suggest that this was intentional) and brought it to global attention. Through his music he preached brotherhood and peace for all of mankind. Towards the end of his life he was ... baptised into the Ethiopian Orthodox Church with the name Berhane Selassie.
7. Andrew Dice Clay -- Sirius Satellite Radio
   On March 4, 2007, Andrew Dice Clay premiered a weekly celebreality series on VH1. The show focuses on Clay and his entourage as he attempts to revive his comedy career. The series is produced by Fox and follows Clay as he writes a book, records a CD and produces his own Sirius satellite radio show. VH1 Senior Vice President Jeff Olde describes the show as a "real-life 'Entourage,' only with disheveled fortysomething guys in the comedy world." Dice: Undisputed is executive produced by Danny Salles for Fox TV Studios. Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Alex Demyanenko and Damla Dogan are executive producers for VH1.[3]
8. Dixie Chicks -- Songs
   The Dixie Chicks treated fans to an intimate performance during a taping of VH1 Storytellers at the Los Angeles Theater in Los Angeles on September 20. The concert, which benefited the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, will premiere on VH1, Saturday, October 28 at 9PM. While their songs tell a story, The Dixie Chicks reveal the inspirations behind some of their classic hits as well as a few of their future classics, such as "Not Ready To Make Nice" which turned their whole world around...and they kind of like it. Viewers will ... get to know the "Chicks" a little better as they show their lighter side and reveal a bit about their personal lives.
9. The White Stripes -- Music
   The White Stripes have been mostly mum since their summer tour ended, a few peeps about cameras and things, but not much about music. It seems that they were too busy making new music and didn't have any energy left to talk about it. Until now. Today they wrote plenty on their website about a new video, new tunes, and collaborations with Beck! The video for "Conquest" was filmed in California and will premier on Mtv November 26th. MORE
10. White Stripes -- De Stijl
    Though the Detroit Free Press broke this story over a year ago, the White Stripes continue to propogate the rumor that they are in fact brother and sister. Now, fibs and mystery are part of rock and roll's history. But so is laying it all on the line.
