Verizon Information Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Verizon, Inc., publishes the Verizon Yellow Pages/Super Pages. Located in nine locations across the state, CWA members sell ads and perform clerical functions for VIS. The company's largest offices are located in East Meadow, Long Island; Manhattan; Westchester; Albany, Syracuse and Buffalo.

This court decision defended by the Parisian Lawyer, Andre Bertrand, was path-setting for the whole European Yellow Pages industry, as it decided that the phrase "Yellow Pages" cannot be considered the property of a single company. Previously, many former state monopoly telecom companies outside the US had tried to ban competition by claiming the term "yellow pages", or the translation of "yellow pages" into the vernacular, as their exclusive trademark.

The street graffiti advertises the Verizon Yellow Pages. The company sprayed about 135 orange-colored chalk ads on the sidewalks. Verizon was fined $150 for each of seven ads the D.C. District Deparmtent of Public Works found. Most had been washed off or worn off by the time city officials went in search of them.

The donation is the second grant from Verizon Yellow Pages to benefit the Clinton Corner. Last year, the company donated $25,000 for four Macintosh computers, a printer, and two child-size computers in the Family Literacy and Technology Center.
