1. Gobi Desert -- Mongolia's Gobi Desert
   Mongolia's Great Gobi reserve protects a largely undisturbed part of the vast Gobi desert, and provides a last refuge for representatives of the ancient terrestrial fauna of Central Asia. In recognition of its unique qualities, the Mongolian government established the Great Gobi Strictly Protected area in 1975. In 1991, the United Nations designated the Great Gobi as an international Biosphere Reserve, the fourth largest Biosphere Reserve in the world, and the largest in Asia.
2. Serious Sam -- Sam 2
   In a moment of pure inspiration Serious Sam 2 features a nod towards Halo (and every other fps since) with the inclusion of vehicles. Now before youâre thinking Warthogs, Banshees and other such forms of first-person transportation weâd like to remind you this is Serious Sam, and so you can look forward to jumping on the back of a Velociraptor or rolling around in the HAM-Z-rr314 Rollerball. Thereâs no denying that they add a little respite in true SS tradition... the novelty soon wears thin. Bizarrely even the boss-encounters appear to be a mere shadow of whatâs come before, with only a handful putting up a challenge and even fewer enjoyable enough to stick in your memory â“ although at least the final challenge raises the stakes somewhat.
3. Dinosaurs
   Dinosaurs are one of the most varied animals in terms of apperance. Ranging from 20 centilitres wide to 30 megametres tall, 1 dinousaur is practically unrecognisable from the next. The only cohesive features between breeds are their hind legs the size of ice-breakers and their bright green scrotal tusks, visible only during football season. The real truth about the dinosaur that they never want you to forget is that their sexual organs are always showing. Even though they try to hide these things with "scales", the females aint buying it, and ... the Lesbian orientation was born. Then the male dinosaurs had no one to satisfy their "urges", and thus Monopoly and Taboo was born.
4. Gameboy

5. Dinosaur (Movie)
   Gertie the Dinosaur is a 1914 short animated film by Winsor McCay that inspired many generations of animators to bring their cartoons to life. Although not the first animated film, as is sometimes thought, it was the first cartoon to feature a character with an appealing personality. The appearance of a true character distinguished it from earlier animated "trick films", such as those of Blackton and Cohl, and makes it the predecessor to later popular cartoons such as those by Walt Disney. The film was ... the first to be created using keyframe animation.
6. Birds
   The Birds of Vermont Museum is a delightful place where visitors can learn about birds and their role in the earth's ecosystem. A private, non-profit organization, the Museum features over 470 carved birds representing 258 species. The woodcarvings depict Vermont's nesting species in their natural habitats as well as North America's endangered and extinct species. The Museum's displays, the surrounding 100 acre bird sanctuary/nature preserve, and the bird viewing window offer visitors a unique opportunity to see and study birds that will not fly away! The birds have been carved by one man, Robert Spear, Jr., a native Vermonter, who is one of Vermont's foremost naturalists and woodcarvers. Picnic tables are available at the Museum and at a near-by pond.
7. Japan -- Wars
   Japan's national game is Go, a strategy board game. By no means everyone plays, but the game has newspaper columns, TV, and professional players. The game is ... played in the West, and there is a large and active English wiki discussing it [2]. On a sunny day, the Tennoji ward of Osaka is a good place to join a crowd watching two Go masters go at it.
8. T. Rex -- Dinosaurs
   Only a single T. rex specimen has been conclusively shown to belong to a specific gender. Examination of "B-rex" demonstrated the preservation of soft tissue within several bones. Some of this tissue has been identified as medullary tissue, a specialized tissue grown only in modern birds as a source of calcium for the production of eggshell during ovulation. As only female birds lay eggs, medullary tissue is only found naturally in females, although males are capable of producing it when injected with female reproductive hormones like estrogen. This strongly suggests that "B-rex" was female, and that she died during ovulation.[40] Recent research has shown that medullary tissue is never found in crocodiles, which are thought to be the closest living relatives of dinosaurs, aside from birds. The shared presence of medullary tissue in birds and theropod dinosaurs is further evidence of the close evolutionary relationship between the two.[46]
9. Hurricane Wilma
   While folks in Southwestern Florida prepare for Hurricane Wilma, people on Mexico's Yucantan Peninsula are just starting to clean up. Wilma, which came ashore near the tourist beaches of Playa del Carmen, Cancun, and Cozumel, lingered over the Yucatan Peninsula for longer than forecasters predicted, pounding the heavily developed with heavy rains and ferocious winds. The storm should reach Florida by daybreak tomorrow and is expected to be a Category 2 hurricane at that time.
