Vegeta is the prince of the Saiyan Race. He starts out as a big bad guy, coming to Earth with Nappa ready to rule it and the Universe. Then later around the Freiza Saga he starts to help the Z-Fighters including Gokou to beat Freiza. Then later he gives up evil (kinda) and becomes a good guy. He and Goku are the only remaining full blood Saiyans left after the deaths of Raditz and then Napa, so they are pretty much the strongest characters around. Vegeta is always trying to top Gokou's Power, he is constantly training and fighing.

Vegeta is an elite member of a fictional race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. Vegeta was the son of the Saiyan king ... named Vegeta. Before Vegeta's birth, the Saiyans had fallen under the rule of the galactic overlord named Freeza, and upon his birth, Vegeta was taken by Freeza as "insurance" for Freeza that the king would remain loyal to him. After several years in Freeza's captivity, the king attempted to rescue his son, however he was killed by Freeza in the attempt. The Saiyan home world is destroyed soon after by Freeza, however, Freeza claimed that it was destroyed by an asteroid. Vegeta remained under Freeza's command for years until he defied Freeza and traveled to Earth in an attempt to gain immortality and galactic rule from using the Dragon Balls.

Vegeta ... has a large library of abilities and attacks, mostly due to the fact that he uses a new attack in almost every fight. Like most other characters, Vegeta has the ability to use Bukujutsu (lit. "lighter than air skill"), which allows him to take flight. His signature attack, Gyarikku Hou (or Garlic Gun, in keeping with the Saiyan puns on vegetables), is a beam similar to the Kamehameha, though fuchsia and released with the palms open rather than having the fingers curve inwards. Ironically, this technique is used very rarely in the series, though is usually one of his techniques in many of his different video game counterparts. In Dragon Ball GT, this attack is replaced with the Final Shine.

Vegeta has two children, Trunks and Bra. Trunks is a goodie goodie boy who is very straight and likes to use his mommy as a sex slave. Bra takes after both her mother and her father in the fact that she is a slut. She aims to break her father's record and sleep with even more characters than he has.

Vegeta told Freeza to transform and explained that Zarbon had already mentioned that Freeza ... had the ability to transform, seeing it was no longer a secret. As a result, Freeza decided to transform with some provocation from Vegeta. In this new form, Freeza was far too powerful for either Vegeta, and especially Kuririn, Dende, or Gohan. Goku was healing, and even he could sense Freeza's awesome power. Freeza badly injured Kuririn by stabbing him with his huge horns. This enraged Gohan, who, after awakening his dormant hidden power, makes a surprise attack on Freeza and temporarily hurts him, but to no avail.

Nappa prepares to make the kill on all three... Vegeta, who had remained on the sidelines, halts him. Vegeta has deduced that "Goku" is Kakarot, and wants Nappa to wait three hours for Goku to arrive to provide punishment for the "traitor". Nappa reluctantly agrees, much to the puzzlement of the remaining fighters, as Nappa is much larger in stature than the diminutive Vegeta. Goku, who had been flying down Serpent Road for over a day, finally reaches the end of the road. Kami-sama appears to transport Goku back to Earth, and on his way to the battlefield, he receives two Senzu from Karin, eats one of them himself to regain his strength, and rides Kinto'un towards the action to conserve energy. Unfortunately, the three hours are up.
