Vayu is the Hindu god of wind. In Vedic times he was much revered as one of the Hindu Triad. After that age, in the Brahmanic era, he was reduced in status but he still continues to occupy a certain eminent position in the Hindu pantheon. Vayu roams all over the earth and the heavens though his home is in the north-west, a quarter which he rules exclusively. He is featured as a destructive god who has an intemperate character and is often subject to violent desires which he never strives to repress. He is ... said to be the king of the Gandharvas, spirits of the mountains who dwell in the foothills of Mount Meru, a mythical summit often mentioned in Hindu religious texts.

Vayu With soaring vocals and with howling guitars that shred through heavy, slightly psychedelic solos one minute and blues-infused riffs the next, Vayu is classic rock at its best. Influenced by bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Rush, Vayu’s classic rock covers are the next best thing to getting in a time machine and travelling back to the ’70s to hear the originals in person!

Vayu Revisited Through diligent research and creative application, the Engineers of Vayu had been able to produce some quite remarkable eggs. These eggs contained a catalyst that was activated when the egg's shell was cracked open. The catalyst caused the eggs to cook automatically without any outside sources of heat. They went from the carton to the table in five seconds flat (six for hard boiled). Naturally, these eggs were in great demand, and became a major export of Vayu. Over the years, production of these eggs began to heavily influence planetary policy.

Stag and Vayu, the Deer Stag gets his name from the traditional word for male deer. Vayu gets her name from the mythology of India. The goddess of the wind, named Vayu, rode a deer. In Blanco's Magic Tails, Stag and Vayu arrived on Earth through Soy's doorway at the same time - 10 years after the doorway was opened. They spent much of their time grazing in the meadow around Big Tree and running through the forest with other animals. If a deer comes to you in a dream, meditation, or everyday life, it could mean that you are a gentle, graceful and intuitive person who doesn't use force to reach a goal.
