Cam Ward improved to 5-0 during regulation and the Carolina Hurricanes took over the league lead in power-play goals last night in their 3-1 victory over the visiting Vancouver Canucks. Cory Stillman and Ray Whitney each had power-play goals to give Carolina a league-best 13.
