The Utah Jazz had an astonishingly good start of the 2006-2007 season. Despite an injury to Andrei Kirilenko that made him miss five games, Utah went undefeated without him. The team managed to win their first four games of the season, and then, after only one loss, went on an 8-game winning streak. It was their best start in franchise history (12-1). They are the current holders of the third-best record in the NBA 24-10, which constitutes .706%. However, the previous season was finished with only .500%.

Utah Jazz Tickets Even though they finished an even, 41-41, and only three games behind division winner, the Denver Nuggets, the Utah Jazz had a 15-win improvement from the previous year. In an average Northwest Division, the other teams being the Minnesota Timberwolves, Seattle Sonics, and Portland Trail Blazers, the Utah Jazz are expected to make a push for the playoffs. Unlike the previous year, their chances won’t be gone before the season even starts.
The Utah Jazz players who were invited to New Orleans for the All-Star break represented the Jazz well. Carlos Boozer in the All-Star game scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds. Deron Williams had a perfect score and won the skills challenge setting a new record. In the rookie challenge Ronnie Brewer scored 13 points with 4 assists and Paul Millsap added 2 points and 3 rebounds.

The Utah Jazz drafted John Stockton in 1984 from Gonzaga University and Karl Malone in 1985 from Louisiana Tech University. Both were relatively unknown players from schools not associated with major college basketball. But they formed one of the most effective guard-forward combinations in NBA history and served as the foundation of a winning Utah Jazz team for more than a dozen seasons. Both Stockton and Malone were perennial members of the All-Star team, and both were part of the United States national basketball team at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. The pair ... shared most valuable player honors at the 1993 NBA All-Star Game.
The EnergySolutions Arena, home of the Utah Jazz, is located just west of downtown Salt Lake City, approximately 10 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport, at 301 West South Temple. It is two blocks from the Salt Palace Convention Center and Temple Square. The Will Call window is located in the main ticket lobby, one flight below the street level, on northeast side of the arena.
