Based at Stratford Circus in London E15, Urban Development is the one-stop organisation for East Londons new urban music talent. UDs work covers everything from innovative artist and studio training courses with experienced professional tutors, individual mentoring for new and established artists, industry seminars, regular live events and festivals and two fully professional labels (Documented and UD Whites). The Urban Development philosophy is to inspire young people to fulfil their creative potential and, at a higher level, to offer valuable links to the music industry and help artists and music businesses based in East London to learn and grow. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has established a single toll-free housing hotline, 1-888-297-8685, to assist the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The number operates from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CDT, seven days a week. This new, nationwide telephone number will provide callers expanded services and hours and the opportunity to speak with an actual individual about their housing needs.
